It is easy to start self-unwinding, self-driven "pandemic" of "cyberattacks" - began to FUD about usual mistakes and bugs as cyberattacks in MSM, and propose to upgrade in a hurry. That will lead to more problems, pose them as cyberattacks again and you are in. :)
Also, you could easily push surveillance and control malware in that highly demanded now upgrades.
