I am really at a loss for why they are blatantly telling lies. Pfizer can't be paying everyone. I guess it's what you do when all your info comes from the tele
Obama made it legal for the media to lie. That is all you need to know about corporate media. They are legally allowed to disseminate information they know to be false.
Ya I get that. But the endgame is really hazy. Starting to think it's authoritarian and $.
Technically they get "Experts" to lie. Then they base their narrative off of that.
Been a little longer than that

They all share the self-destructive, ends justify the means, ideology of leftism
They are still getting paid for the article and they need to write articles that get clicks and are approved by the network. Also the network is paid by big pharma.
Are you that gullible ? they get paid to lie.
Politics 101 : for a government to survive they must satisfy the needs of the few who control the many.
I'm shocked the lying goons would add that update so promptly. Journalistic integrity is a joke as evidenced by the unquestioning publishing of this propaganda piece in the first place.
They never made a new tweet on their twitter though where they linked this article saying "Hey, we made a mistake on this article, it's now updated" - because most of the people just read the tweet and don't bother actually clicking on the article and thus never see the "retraction" or update.
They should've updated their twitter if they wanted most people to even see that they fucked up. At least people in the comments on the original tweet are posting screenshots of their update though so that's something.
Great point: it is all about optics. Who and how many see something is how they play the game, the cards are almost always on the table.
Rolling Stone literally published Fake News that Oklahoma hospitals were being overwhelmed by ivermectin OD patients who are preventing "gunshot victims" from receiving treatment. They cited one doctor and one hospital.
The hospital in question immediately put out a statement on their website essentially denying the whole story: the hospital is fine, everyone is being seen, there are no "ivermectin OD" epidemics, and the "doctor" in question hasn't worked at that location in months.
RS doubled down, didn't remove the initial story/tweet, and published a second article saying "one hospital disagrees" even though it was the MAIN source for the Fake News.
Multiple blue checks are pointing out that the lack of even a "misleading" hashtag on the initial tweet exposes the hypocrisy of big tech in a nearly unprecedented manner.
Not even an oops. This is just an update. Not even a correction! If it was a correction there wouldn't be anything to publish as it is devoid of facts and would have to be retracted. It doesn't even question the authenticity of the guy who is clearly lying and provided all the info for the article.
It would be nice to get an oops out of them or any one of the other 1000 major publications that published this shit. But other than this minor "update" I haven't seen a single correction or retraction.
Its a bullshit story that is now real. It isn't real but that isn't relevant cause they made it real and thats just how it is.
