My cat was sick once and I had to give him Penicillin. Penicillin is also used in humans, but nobody calls it "cat pills".

You’re right. It’s interesting considering ivermectin is on the WHO list of essential medicines (for humans)
I am glad some people can see through the narrative. It is an easy stretch to make though. The most easily available ivermectin available in the US today is in a concentrated version designed for horses. If it were available in pill form over-the-counter like it is in other countries, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.
It’s worth mentioning that the horse paste you can buy on Amazon or farm stores is simply pure ivermectin and if you happen to be dumb enough to eat a whole tube at once (which is formulated for a 1200 lb horse), it’s less than half of what it would take to kill the average human.
Regardless of the messed up situation we’re in, ivermectin has a long history of being a very safe and effective drug — helping cure river blindness and other parasitic infections all over the world. It’s prescribed to humans all the time, including children and pregnant woman. And yes like penicillin, it is prescribed to all sorts of animals.
There is compelling evidence ivermectin also has antiviral properties and when it’s used WITH ZINC for EARLY treatment of coronavirus it can be very effective of reducing and shortening the effect and duration of Covid-19. (Not to mention potential prophylactic benefits) I emphasized the points that are typically not considered by ivermectin detractors.
Here are statements that should set off your bullshit detector:
Both these statements are accurate but don’t take into account the bigger picture and furthermore aim to extend a narrative that quarantining and vaccines are the only acceptable measures against the pandemic.
We need more critical thinking in this world.
