walking into a building these days, in a public lobby, you'll of course find lots of bluetooth devices that answer back when you broadcast a page.
the crazy thing is there is no names on any of them... no device listings at all.
seems a little odd, hopefully it inspires people to repeat this and see if they can replicate the results in a more controlled environment.
go out into a field with nobody around, scan, show results. then have a bunch of vaccinated people come over with no devices on their person and scan again.
i highly doubt this is true, there are probably millions of people scanning for bluetooth devices daily just to link up to speakers or headphones or home assistants... the odds that this is just now starting to show up is rather slim.
