Did FDA really approve the Pfizer COVID vaccine? Wait. What? EUA will remain in place for the OLD Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 shot, and the NEW one named "Comirnaty" has been "approved" but isn't fully available. Huh? The “new vaccine”—which has full FDA approval—CONTINUES TO ALSO HAVE EUA STATUS. (blog.nomorefakenews.com)

I read the CHD and this. Rappoport explains it well at the end I think, it's really just a legal loophole

going forward, the Pfizer Biontech jab, now under the brand name "Comirnaty", is "FDA Approved". The vials of the vaccine in circulation now which are not branded "Comirnaty" do not fall under this approval - they are still only EUA. These vials are much more common than "Comirnaty" ones.

Though the substances in both types of vials are essentially the same, they are legally distinct products. Since the new one is the same as the old, FDA has also given it the same EUA as the older.

But, since the older vials don't have the brand name "comirnaty" printed on them, they do not pass for the legal "FDA approval". Using this as an excuse to refuse to be jabbed (with older vials not labelled "Comirnaty") could be a legal loophole people can make use of, but it is probably not a reliable position to take since "Pfizer Biontech" vials contain the same substance as "Comirnaty" vials.
