I am not so optimistic like those people not being critical about new technology calling themselves "transhumanism".But consider this: ruling elites called "transhumanist" are not really caring for the progress of technology really. They are about power,they want to get all fruits of those progress only for them,serving their sick purposes. They are rulers wanting new toys to rule people.Do they want more nonconformism,more curiosity,more thinking ? No.They want to grow in fat at the cost of everyone else.Forever.
