When there are a ton of “verified” nurses and doctors online basically insulting people for taking it, my intuition hits and makes me want to try it. I’ve lost all trust in the medical community.
There's also another anti-parasitic that seems to be a cure for cancer - fenbendazole (usually used to de-worm dogs). I haven't read of it doing anything for covid, but I don't know if it's in as common usage as ivermectin.

I personally know of five people who had covid, took ivermectin and within days their covid symptoms abated.
