Found the easiest proof that we are not a spinning ball. Calculate the spin of the Earth and try to calculate a plane traveling E>W and W<E based on that. Going East and returning West is the same amount of time with a direct flight.
Furthermore, Earth is supposedly spinning with 1,669km/h, while a commercial plane is hardly reaching 1000km/h... :D Yet both flights from Barcelona (W) to Istanbul (E) and the return are 3h 30min. Confirmed immovable flat land. Check it with any flight W-E and the return.
Can't help but notice the shills have nothing to say for you, other than a couple of downvotes
I tried to bring it up to a friend of mine today, and I asked him how planes reach their destinations when the earth is spinning 1000mph at the equator, however, passenger planes don't fly that fast
Or how a helicopter could just lift off and hover and wait for its destination to spin up under it
I was told that it's like if you threw a baseball inside of a moving car...
And I'm somehow the one who doesn't understand basic physics
I also asked howcome wind doesn't all blow in one direction then if spinning and he said that the air just follows along perfectly and we don't notice it

Yikes.
the istanbul barcelona direct flight thing is a great example
but when you're dealing with people who will simply say it's like throwing a ball inside of a car, it might not crack their conditioning
