Israel has also stopped tourism due to concerns about variants. Every "vaccinated" tourist is a walking variant factory. Normally, a deadly mutation results in its own demise by killing the host. Now so many travelers will have taken the shots it is too much of a risk to allow them into places with relatively few who have done so.
