Yeah he sent other people. The guy is a certifiable sociopath. 1 in 100 odds of the rocket blowing up is fine for other people, but he wouldn't bet his own life on it.
Officially the Earths atmosphere extends past the moon. (as there are still trace gasses in significant enough quantities that it isn't actually in the vacuum of space.)
The pics here are either photoshopped and manipulated to fool the masses. Only thing I can say is that ''space'' is a fabricated lie, made up by the elite to fool the sheep. The only thing they did is to pretend they went to the edge of our atmosphere and spin it into a fake story that the sheep will absorb all of it.
