Facts of real physics should be our primary method to determine the world's shape👍
✅Water at rest is level. ✅Spinning balls produce centrifugal force. ✅Air can NOT sync speeds over a moving surface. ✅Chicago is visible from 50 miles. ✅I can go on, and on, and on.
It is tiresome to see the same lame arguments trotted out again and again for the globe, especially those that depend on iffy sources (government agencies). The as told model is not correct, is not factual, is made up and synthesized and you're basing your belief on the made up "social proofs" and video testimonials.
Many cowards have committed to the legacy globe model so hard they will never admit they are wrong even if they know it isn't true. Others are too stupid to realize they've been tricked.
When a man comes face to face with a conspiracy so big, so earth shattering and outrageous, he becomes paralyzed and cannot accept it, even though it's staring him right in the face.
So then set it up and leave it up and even connect it to a live stream on the internet. It would prove so many points then. It could also answer the following questions:
Honestly this could be done with crowdfunding and would be really informative. As well it would be a good resource to reference if it was all above board. Publish professional quality schematics and an accurate audit of the cost of items used. A form section could be included for discussions and explanations.
The entire thing could be treated like a big science experiment. One might consider not even phrasing it as a Flat Earth proof text but simply a "Experiment on visibility of the horizon from the edge of the sea/ocean."
If one did an empirical based experiment that was repeatable and transparent in everything it did then that might encourage others to do similar things with other things. One might even consider not posting that it "proves" anything and let people come to the conclusions themselves.
That's not a bad idea I have saved this in my notes. You need a few reference points in the background you can see (specifically a water height marker for when the tides change, most cargo ships have markers as well on the side that work as a good reference also). Another thing would be determining when to activate the zoom. With a p1000 if you look at the wrong time you will just zoom into what appears to be fog, or refraction/mirage.
I'll save you the bother;
