Yup, I use an old 50 cal ammo can to hold my tertiary gard drive which has a backup of my raid drives. I insulate it with foam and cardboard so the drive is an inch away from the walls, then seal it up. Keeps it dry, keeps it caged up, easy to grab if you need to bug out, and only like 13 bucks
and store it in a Faraday cage in case of EMP shenanigans.
