They have been trying for years to get mandatory TPM. They are trying again with Windows 11.
In the meantime, learn alternatives. Linux is the easiest to get along with - some distribution like POP_OS! (what I use on my laptops) is end user friendly.
For other machines I'd recommend OpenBSD.
Your computer, though, will be considerably less valuable a tool if you can't connect it to the Internet.
I agree. Makes you really think why there is a chip shortage... Also it doesn’t matter what OS you use because they are all run by these people. Linux, Mac OS, windows, android, etc. they are all WEF participants and members. Remember that you will own nothing and be happy and the sad part is that with a computer they can merely make it so with a software update.

There are running programs on your computer that you already do not have access to, no matter what OS and it's not even paranoia.

The guys at Coreboot also did some of the pioneering work discovering the HTTP server in the North Bridge (or South Bridge, I forget which).
