Plenty of farmers in my area do it to help provide quality food to their neighbors. They're not going to take money to sit on their ass and do nothing. I assume this has more to do with the feedlot or grain farmers that are producing mass quantities of cheap food for animal or human consumption.
So, I’m not sure if I’m playing devil’s advocate here, but there is an upside to this; letting the land return to a wild state to regenerate nutrients in the soil. We can all talk about how, yes indeed, globalists are wanting to co trial the food supply. However, we also can admit that the current state of agriculture literally rapes the land and does not allow it to regenerate properly. This can be a good thing in the long run. Either way, a food shortage would be coming; wether artificial through subsidies not to grow things, or land that has been completely drained of vital nutrients for crop growth.
You do realize not only has this been going on for years and years but it's a vital part of keeping the wildlife around.its not a big conspiracy ,not particularly lucrative but if you want me to take land out of production so moose and pheasants and whatever can grow then you better pay me to cover my losses.its not rocket science.

You do realize that nobody claimed that farm subsidies are new, right? The part that you're trying to obfuscate is that the Congress of SorosRothschildBloombergistan is greatly expanding it in order to manufacture inflation.
You do also realize, that I'm seeing this same fallacious talking point being regurgitated across social media in response to these articles, right? Time to change the script....
This has been going on for years. Not growing corn is very lucrative in the Midwest.

Is this why Bill Gates is buying up farmland?
