The washington monument (in your first video) is indeed currently close as it is 2:21am and that is a live cam. However it along with all the other monuments are open 24 hours a day outside and until 5pm for guided indoor tours. This is irrelavent however because the monuments are not was makes up the federal government. It is thousands of people including the ones flying the helicopters, driving the cars and other various things as you can plainly see in your videos.
The federal government is doing mosly telework these days which partially explains the lack of crowds but also most in the private sector in DC are also teleworking as well. It has been like this since Covid except the monuments are recently reopened. Again, I live here. Most people I know work in directly or indirectly for the federal government. It is up and running. Believe me. The only thing I do no know about is the Federal Reserve which is actually not a part of the federal government.
I can plainly ready the text in your dated irrelevant screenshot as I have pointed out twice already. You either cannot or will not read it yourself. I have purposely not attacked you, but your post and you have done the opposite.
That is actually the white house. Please see fit to read the title of the live feed. It is the only active camera in all of DC. The White house has Shown zero activity since inauguration.
Then you can read the date in the upper left hand corner.

My post has personally attacked you in some way? What a bizarre claim to make.
Apologies I misspoke that is a live feed (supposedly) from the white house and true it has been turning lights out at night which is strange and was started when the curfew was put into place and somehow lights out a 11pm honored George floyd. However during the day there is activity, however not as much as normal pre covid but certainly as much as when Trump was there during his time in office during the pandemic. There is less activity for several reasons including the bullshit security threat and increased perimeter after jan 6th, but also the fact that there are no public tours going on as they are suspended. However the live cams will show some activity but I am sure when the president is being moved secret service puts a loop up to not actually show live movements of the President for security reasons. I have passed the white house dozens of times at various hours and seen activity myself. And you provide footage of activity in the youtube videos.
Once again I can read the text, forget about it being 2 days old thats not an issue I am pointing out your title not reflecting what it says as it does not say closed until further notice as your title suggests. Even if it did it is an odd source to choose to find updates on DC seeing as how it is a congressman's webpage. A congressman from Minnesota for whatever reason. An odd choice, but not inaccurate by any means.
You called me Mr. Handshake which is not my name and judging by your tone I figured an insult of some sort was a safe bet. I could be wrong, but that would make calling me that even weirder honestly.
Do you care to expand at all on your theory on what is going on? Let's for argument's sake ignore reality here and assume we agree that the dc is shutdown as you say. What is happening? Who is behind it? Who is running the country? What is your overall point here?
