Hey guys, this one's a doozy! I thought this story was worthy of being told. I already feel better having written it all out.
But if long-winded diatribes aren't your cup of tea, I won't be offended if you skip this one. ngl though, it's got some juicy bits. I'd love to know how all of this jives with the experiences and observations of many of you out there.
MEGA RESPECT. TY!
Even the people who have not been in the reddit trenches, know what's up.
Small addition, to back up what you wrote:
Here's a recent interview with Alan MacLeod on the MintCast podcast explaining how in 2017 the infiltration of Reddit was already so complete, that they put Atlantic Council & CFR warhawk scumbag sell-out, (( Jessica Ashooh )) (read : ass-hoe) as Reddit's Director of Policy.

You can discuss anything there, as long as it is along the accepted narrative, part of the accepted themes or subject matters and if you don't stray away from the party line.
Other than that, it's a cesspool of idiocy, echo-effect and propaganda with a smattering of useful gems thrown in for good measure.
AND THE SAME will happen to ALL other non-decentralized, subscription/identity based single-name-address-server-space systems.
Doesn't matter who owns or creates them originally, they will be ALL taken over, once they become powerful enough.
Decentralization is the only answer now and in the future.
