Always want to de-fund the Police. They are no one's friends, except the Governments. They are a reactive force that only shows up after the crime has been committed. They are there to protect and serve the State not the people.
I rather pay for security, I rather have a private security company with out guns periodically patrol my neighborhood.

Law Enforcement enforces laws, these may be unjust and unfair laws but that is what they do.
There is a reason the Gestapo during WW2 in Poland was mainly made out of Cops and bureaucrats.
