Let me take the opportunity to comment on a stupidly obvious shill tactic I've noticed over the years on /r/conspiracy and elsewhere.
Everyone knows facebook, twitter etc are hugely problematic.
However, we simply can't just tell the entire planet to stop using these broken systems. Such a huge chunk of the internet-going population has a boomer mentality and will NOT simply just "abandon" facebook for the next new and shiny thing.
These people were likely slow or reluctant to get on the internet at all.
No, we are stuck with twitter and facebook for the time being.
Now...since so much communication happens on these outlets, we have to use them occasionally for citation purposes or to start discussion.
Without fail, and like clockwork, these discussions are FORUM SLID so the top comments are ALWAYS "why are you still on facebook?" or "I quit twitter years ago, why are you still using twitter?"
99% of these are bots or bad actors. The 1% are useful idiots who see the bots getting karma and are trying to be "cool."
No one gives a fuck if you quit facebook. Good for fucking you.
What these self-congratulatory wastes of space are trying to get you to forget is that your cousins and grandmas and coworkers are NOT going to just up and leave social media like IG and twitter because you asked them nicely.
We simply can NOT allow any discussion of twitter and facebook to be shut down by these people.
We're stuck with them atm. Should these sites be shut down permanently for the betterment of humanity? Undoubtedly.
But "get off twitter" by itself is not the answer. People are lazy and creatures of habit.

We must use their own tools/weapons against them.
Nrver liked fb and twitter. I sat in on an early informal fb planning meeting where the name of early fb investor soros came up.
