I'm no Magneto-geneticist, so this is just my opinion, but this level of magnetism appears to be so weak they need special rooms to detect it.
I would be very surprised if normal human tissue could be 'magnetised' enough to attract a real life magnet. My surprise would probably be even stronger than when I discovered magnetic rocks in a gravel parking lot as a young child.
It doesn't have to be metal. Proteins can be magnetized.
