Some of the best people from Google left to form Neeva which is now in public beta. The founders of Neeva are some of the Really Good People from the Old Days when Google was not Evil. It has no ads and is purely a paid service. Disclosure I worked for Google and recognize the names of the Neeva people and have met a few of them, but have no skin in their game.
