Taken from an email by my HR Manager today:
“Team,
We are excited to say that we are exploring the possibility of partnering with the Army National Guard to offer COVID vaccinations on site. If there is sufficient interest and we’re able to move forward, we would schedule one day where ____ employees and their family members could come to the site and receive a vaccination. At this point, indications are that the Army National Guard would have all three brands of the vaccine available. We also anticipate that the Army National Guard will have 2nd doses available for individuals who have already received a 1st dose elsewhere.
Please take a moment to use the voting buttons to indicate if you and/or your family members would likely be interested. Please respond by close of business on Monday, May 17. We will also be speaking with the ____ frontline and ____ distribution center this week to gauge their interest.
Again, at this point we don’t know for sure if this will happen, but we are hopeful, and it will be important to gauge interest level. So your response with the voting buttons would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

No, I ignored this email just as I ignored their various optional, confidential surveys of my vaccination status.

Yes, I totally understand NOT wanting to be the singled out guy, but this is where folks need to stand up. If you don't stand up, you're just as compliant as those who line up. **BUT... what do you do, really? **
You know, most of your fellow co workers will go for this, and that will tell your company that it's ok to make it mandatory for future employment. I hope you don't have to face that.
I don't know what I'd do if I was in this situation, but that's why I started my own business years ago : so I never had to answer to anyone about anything for work except myself.
I wish you luck, man, I truly do. This is my biggest concern for folks like us. There are people out there, like yourself, who may very well be looking at " get vaxxed or get unemployed". Then... it's the nightmare of finding employment again, that doesn't demand you take a poison shot. I really hope you find a positive outcome for this.
You're absolutely right. I needed to hear that. That's the same sort of mentality I have when it comes to faking vaccination status. If you fake it, then you're complicit in allowing the system to continue to grow as is. Thank you.

The document says they are trying to gauge interest in order to decide if they want to pursue it further.
A yes is interest.
A no, or non-response is no interest.
Enough disinterest, perhaps they don't pursue it further, If the document is taken at face value.
Yes, and the only reason I said what I said is because WE are in the minority when it comes to this Covid shit. People are wearing the "I got my Vax" like it's the highest honour ever awarded.
WE folks need to be positive reinforcements for each other. That's all, I was doing. Hoping he doesn't just hope it goes it away, because it may not.
I know we all don't agree on all the topics of discussion here. But, WE have a power THEY don't. We are all of the same mindset : reality. THEY live in fucking fantasy land. Us folks need to be there for each other, it might actually get crazy for people like us soon.
