I've driven about 2,000 miles on a 2020 Model 3. Never once trusted the damn driving assist. Lose the lines, lose the vehicle.
Support systems need to be rolled out for a realistic autonomous network. These companies act like they can slap a few cameras on a vehicle and fire up google maps. Tesla uses the same tech developed 20+ years ago. Maps and cameras. Bravo.
The companies that pushed autonomous vehicles were merely looking to generate investment capital. That's all.
