Lots of extra reports now because normal vaccines only get reports for causal links and for a few anomalies from trials. Not to say there aren't problems with these vaccines, but this "40% more VAERS" is exaggerated.
VAERS has historically been massively underreported. That doctors are actually required to report means the system actually working as intended for the first time.
That's fine and I agree with you, there should be this level of scrutiny for every vaccine. Also there's apparently a massive backlog of VAERS reports not in the system yet.
You just can't compare before and after report volume is all. Have to look at what specific events were and details of each report.
