In the end, you're asking how to formulate an opinion without grievous external influence. It's called discernment.
Bots, shills, endless sock puppet alts... What does it matter if you're incapable of pursuing truth? Spotting shills ought to be the least of your concerns in the end, especially with what's going on in the world today.
