I've seen a globe moon, sun, planets with my own eyes. I stand on a globe and can look up and see the stars move around the northern star. I have been to Australia and see the earth spin around the southern cross. I see the sunset and change with the seasons. Everything I observe with my own eyes can be supported by what I have learned in school, seen hours of video, listened to lectures, and learned the truth. I am an intelligent being capable of understanding science through hypothesis, testing, and observation.
The problem with the FE model is that everything I have seen with my own eyes breaks down and is impossible to make work. It simply does not work. Never has, never will.
The seasons on a FE model are explained by a sun that changes radius and spins faster when it is at the southern tropic since it has 24 hours to go around. This means Australians would see the sun move faster than us in the north. They don't. This alone nullifies any theory as it is simply not true and impossible since no one has ever observed, recorded and tested this theory. You would simply need to find a FE in Australia and ask them to time the movement of the sun.
The whole model is laughable at best. Not one scientist or physicist has ever supported such a theory. Think about that for one moment.

Measure the curvature by observing mountain peaks at various distances, they appear to shrink with distance faster than perspective. On a long stretch of highway, the height of mountains is lower to your eyes because you are seeing the mounting behind the curvature. As you approach the mountain, it grows taller and taller. If the mountain was on a flat plane, the mountain bottom would be visible now, wouldn't it?
Seriously, what fucking purpose would the entire scientific population serve by hiding the truth of a flat earth? Not one flat earther has ever said WHY all these people are faking it. It's just so implausible it is a joke. Do you know how much effort it would take to mask this reality? What is the 'end game' for doing this?

Even in your model, if only 1/2 the disc is illuminated, the light pollution would render the other side nearly as bright or at least impossible for it to 'disappear as it rotates.
