Love you bro! Yet, lets get some facts straight.
Coming from a vet of the USAF 920th Air Rescue Wing. A 12 year vet, okay.
Silver or gold is useless in a TEOTWAWKI situation we ALL might find our selves in. Not a matter of IF, but WHEN.
Ammo is fabulous! But what happens when the ammo has been expended?
A firearm is now reduced to a bat.
In my training I was taught foraging and scavenging.
Gold and silver prices are fixed. DO NOT trust them, They are fear based, and fixed.
Grub worms taste like buttered scramble eggs. Roasted silk worms taste like butter bean and yet leave a thick film on the upper palette.
Pan fried crickets are excellent!
I lost all of my firearms to a boating accident!
So, learn primitive hunting techniques.
Learn how to forage for wild edibles. the four notable mushrooms taste great and are rich in nutrients
Learn scavenging techniques. Plenty of clothing, firearms, ammo to go around. as well as other useful items.
One can get water by exposing plants to sunlight in a ziplock clear bag. Enough to save your life.
Know how to make a shelter from a sapling tree? I do. Been there...done it.
Finally, we cannot fight the big banks. Never have, never will.
A macro course in survival.
Been buying silver and gold since I was 16.. guess I'll continue?
Your choice, your right. However I have to pose a question. Can you eat it?
In a TEOTWAWKI situation will it have any value or priority?
Food. A necessity .for human life.
Skillsets. Also a necessity for human life.
Both are also premium bartering tools.
Neither silver or gold will save anyone when SHTF.
Oh, and roasted silk worms taste like butter beans.
I and my family will survive when SHTF.
Everything I have written is based on first hand experience.
I grow my own produce and brew my own beer.. I may have what some want when it comes to bartering or surviving
I have a two acre garden and make home made sake. I ferment mine for 60 days, making it 80 proof.
I've made Chinese rice wine with the Asian yeast balls.. but never straight up Sake.. I have made Amazake though! I also enjoy faux dry aging beef with Koji.
