I have never heard this before. Send me more information on it, because, frankly, I don't believe it.
That said, strong ideological polar opposites who actively still work for their points of view, like Antonin Scalia and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, were quite friendly with each other as they didn't take it personally.
As for Tucker, he was kinda a neo-con for a long time, and these days is more like Pat Buchanan and red-pilled. I get the feeling that he still holds certain positions he does for the TV. But it was big, when he questioned the "diversity is our strength" mantra.
