They are all globalists, yes, but they still have to reward the base to keep them attending the circuses and eating the bread. All things being equal, I'd prefer republicans in power over democrats; less gun control, less government control of healthcare, etc. etc.
Anyway, it's called Duverger's Law. There will always be two major coalitions in any political system with winner take all elections.

Bs there is only one and has aways been so
At least in China the public are told about it.
Dude your a bit slow
The Republicans and Democrats are on the same team. Gun control? Trump made bump stock owners fellons. He set us up so Joe takes the guns and we blame Joe it's all pantomime to divide and rule.
Red and blue is like the lakers and the bulls. The NBA runs them both. Like the ones above the ones red and blue. .
If you can't tell the difference between Trump giving a few bones to quiet his critics with bump stocks (still a betrayal) but the complete civilian disarmament that democrats want, then I can't help you.
Duverger's Law is one of the few "laws" in the social sciences. It's as much a law as the law of thermal expansion.
And what do you mean by "on the same team?" There is a significant amount of overlap in support for a host of items (enriching themselves), but significant divergence on a whole host of others issues. The Country is quite divided, and our elected officials are worlds apart on a whole host of issues.
I will vote if the Republicans start cheating as well, to even things out.
But the Republicans and Democrats on the same side
please start to think dude its all pantomime we have no choice red and blue is a way to divide us.
