Density and buoyancy is most easiest to understand but there's other physics involved like resistance, viscosity etc you can factor. Oxygen molecules are not strong enough to support say water molecules so water falls through air at the appropriate variable fall rate. No invisible force pulling downward constantly. You can go test this yourself. You cannot go test the force of gravity right? Or can you? Can you?
There's endless amounts of people buying relatively cheap p900 and p1000 cameras and filming all kinds of videos of the ocean being completely level.. using multiple reference points like buoys and other objects just to debunk the mystical and selective "bending around the curve mirage" that the news tells you. People are testing this over water, over ice, over the salt flats. There is a convex/concave effect that can bend the horizon upward as well as downward depending on the moisture in the air. Light refraction is still a thing, but it is not the end all be all debunking of people seeing across the plane. There are more and more people testing this out and getting the same results and actually using real repeatable testable science for this..
Well for one centripetal force is needed to create gravity
If you'd like fund me I can show you.
With that being said.. if you believe gravity doesn't exist then what do you call the phenomenon we experience?

no one has ever proved/tested gravity.
With that being said has earth been proven flat or to not be a globe?
