Arabs, Persians, Semites and caucasians are all apart of the Middle East. The Middle East is transcontinental and belongs to Africa,Europe, and Asia. People in the Middle East should not be considered Asians, but should be considered middle eastern.
Asians on the other hand have two groups of people, dravidiod (mix of Caucasians and dravidians found in the indian subcontinent), and mongoloids(found in the rest of Asia). Both populations of people have a respectably big size of over a billion people, and therefore both can hold the title of being Asian.
