Think of it like this, the “ice wall” is there because the sun can not travel beyond its set trajectory to melt it. So the ice plain could be infinite just like space.
But what if there are other suns along this ice plain, other “planets” with their own sun on the same plain a few thousand miles away. The FE map could just be one tiny little pin hole in much larger world.

The Earth isn't actually flat, yet similar to any 2D diagram, you can used a flat Earth map to extrapolate higher dimensions and math. This is similar to other occulted information that alludes to inner dimensions through the euphemisms of hollow earths. So in essence, The Earth, is a globe, it is flat, and it is hollow, all from different perspectives. Though it is most factually a globe.
