Actually, if they could extend the mask mandates and social distancing mandates to ad infinitum (10 years minimum because that is the duration of the Chinese Cultural Revolution) people will literally eat and kill their own until 4 million left, and the remaining wild animals will be exiled into pristine wilderness and only clones and GMO Beautiful Ones will populate the cities.
