This supports the rope hypothesis that every atom in the universe is connected to every other atom in the universe. A comment in that thread explains it a bit more and you can find the creator on YouTube as Bgaede. Haven't read his book and I wish his videos were a bit higher quality. He does a lot of segments dismantling 'mathemagicians'.

Look for his explanation for magnetism, it's a decent place to start
