Well more equal is just another example of double think. It's the oppressor VS the oppressed. The violation of human rights. The prime evil. Whatever you want to call it. They fail because they violate natural law, the Prateo distribution. There are only a few ultra productive people (with all things that compete to create, the square root produce 50% of the total created) like the Trumps, Bezos, and Musks of the world, they make life better for everyone else. Socialism steels their property and redistributes it. Why would any hard worker ever risk their neck to try in a society like that, when in socialism hard workers are a threat to the slacker? In the end the hard working flee, are killed, or become corrupt themselves, surviving off the graft of their position. Any society rooted in theft and violence will only produce more of the same.
Consider this, fascism is really just lipstick on the pig of feudalism. The Catholics are trying to recreate the dark ages. That’s when the Catholics were at the peak of their power. They were the king makers. They controlled the knowledge from the old civilizations. They told the people what to believe, who was good and who was bad. Every day they try to recreate those glory days.
...I would consider that a very simplified and mostly not quite accurate version of what's been going on... But we've studied different history lessons obviously, since history has been written by the victor, and then rewritten again, and again, I'm not supprised. Keeping studying, the truth is out there.

Sadly, we are well down that same road. The federal government picks many of our economic winners and losers. The more billionaires they make, the greater the lobbying effort toward fascism becomes.
