Predictive programming or truth couched in fiction?
Hard to find the series. Remember lizard woman eats a bird.
It was on dvd on ebay ,may be pirated I'm not sure.
I just watched this. In my head I was substituting "red dust" for covid and imagining an infectious disease that only killed Visitors dressed as humans
So you wanna hear my story on this?
I watched this show as a kid, and I was pretty young (7 or 8), so most of the show is hazy. But I'm pretty sure that the show was a bit heavy for my age, regardless.
So, I'm watching the show, and one episode had the lead female actress getting married, and the couple either bit the heads off mice or ate them whole after their vows to complete the ceremony.
It REALLY made me feel sick.
I felt so bad I couldn't watch any more, then I dizzily went upstairs and ended up lying down in my mom's bed, facing the wrong way. I didn't care, I felt awful.
So, I'm laying there, and the room was kinda spinning like when you are drunk. I started staring at the overhead light, which was a gold and glass frame type thing that was in all honesty rather chintzy. It started to get brighter and brighter, and it really just took on a radiative gold appearance, and I got weirded out.
Then, the light started to turn into three slowly rotating faces that I could make out clearly. The first was a king, who really looked an awful lot like the Burger King guy...very cartoonish. The second was an old crone with a hook nose and all. The third was a joker/thief, who looked like a jester a bit, but that face was also shaded and less distinct than the other two.
I got sick of the spinning and ended up closing my eyes and going to sleep, but that left some impression.
I felt like typing this up because a friend just posted about an Alex Grey art exhibit, and for sure what I saw looked like a form of godhead. For sure it was an experience that took me some years to "unpack". I really don't think it happened without reason, though.
Seriously, V is one of the best series' I've ever seen. V the original miniseries, V the Final Battle, and V the19 episode original series.
Top quality acting and storytelling.
