Funny that this place would mourn the death of an establishment propagandist.
No, Rush was not an establishment propagandist.
Republicans are literally establishment.
Rush Limbaugh only supported Republicans as an alternative to democrats. We have a two party state because we have winner take all elections. This is called Duverger's Law that you always default, even in parliamentary systems, into two major coalitions or parties. If you don't support liberals, you have no choice but to support the opposition party.
Moreover, to reform the party you do support, you have to use primaries to shift the party one way or the other, which is why he called them cowards all the time for not standing up for conservative principles and supported the Tea Party.
And yet he supported the Republicans and they supported him.
Doesn't get more mainstream than that.
Rush Limbaugh is the definition of an establishment propagandist, you fucking idiot. Zero self-awareness.
Coming from you, who likely never listened to him either, shows zero self-awareness.
Pot, meet kettle, kettle, meet pot.
I've had the misfortune of hearing Rush Limbaugh talk out of his ass for decades. He's the definition of an establishment propagandist. He gets paid to lie. Predictably, you're still stuck on the "liberal bad conservative good" false paradigm that you actually think this bloated sack of shit had integrity. You're a partisan hack. But don't feel bad, that's the majority of people here.
How much time do you think you spent actually listening to him?
He’s dead. Do you really need to piss on his grave just because you disagree with his political philosophy?
When I first listened to Rush many years ago he was good at mocking the “feminazis” and other lunatics. I moved on to other information and only started listening again because he was sick and President Trump gave him the Medal of Freedom. He pushed the mainstream GOP presidential candidates for years. He also gave me the Tucker Carlson vibe of a guy who would only do superficial work, like mocking a goofy college professor. Having said that, he was a superstar broadcaster, like Art Bell, who may have put a lot of bullshit out there, but who could teach a lot of broadcasters today how to do their jobs.
It’s unbelievable. I’ve said it a million times, but the psyop that turned “anti-establishment conspiracy theorists” into bootlicking Republicans is an incredible feat. No one here has any coherent ideology.
The word you're looking for is scourge. When arguing, it is better to do so from a position of intelligence, which you seem to be lacking.
