Meanwhile, to a Christian we are citizens of two kingdoms, this earthly one and the one we should be preparing for as we are just passing through this worldly one. This concept, right or wrong, leads many Christians to not take actions to engage fully to defend themselves and their beliefs.

Even a run-of-the-mill conservative realizes that things are pretty decent when compared to the hardscrabble past, and that civilization is fragile, so don't muck it up. You know, Chesterton's Fence.

A SJW, a socialist, a progressive, a Marxist, even most liberals, however, think that if we push the right buttons and set the dials just the right way on society we can get an earthly utopia. That requires oppression of conservatives and religion.

AND because they don't generally believe in an afterlife, this life takes on such importance that they fight like hell for their utopia on earth cause. After Trump won, they went apeshit and tried to wreck his presidency from election night onwards. Every loss to them is catastrophic. Meanwhile conservatives, are (generally) like "fuck it, imma go plant a garden" after Biden stole the election.

Liberals rely on this "free your mind" stuff to consolidate power. And while there is a benefit to homeschooling and not watching Hollywood filth, that doesn't take POWER away from those who gleefully use it to oppress you NOW.

Fit for the next utopia i.e. "heaven" i.e. milk, honey and virgin for the believers.

So true. Marxists realize that the battle is on the next door street. Whose streets and all that jazz...

Non marxists think this a spiritual war.

I cannot prove the latter but I know who is right with the former. And who is ruling the streets right now.
