Now that governments have the ability to nuke a target from space, as depicted in the movie 'Real Genius', are Aliens being presented as a cover for this new technology??

My belief :
UFO's are an accidental psyOp, since day one ; Roswell.
After Operation Paperclip, we all know who got what. Russians got rocket tech, Americans got the nuke.
We also know the Germans were experimenting with a couple other things : the Bell, and the WIng. Ever seen the schematics of the Wing? Looks an AWFUL lot like a B2 Stealth Bomber, no?
Not a stretch to assume the US Military would see if they could get these other two things going as well. The Wing, especially, as it was designed for a low radar signature. Looking at the original schematics and drawings, it was more circular / boomerang shaped.
Let's say with an engine fail / fire there would be smoke and fire blocking the FULL view of said craft and it fell from the sky. So a boomerang shaped object you could only see half of, would actually look like what...a 'flying saucer'.
Another easy assumption is say the engine fail took place on a turn = sending the aircraft in an undesired direction.
Locals see a "plane" coming down from the sky on fire ; you'd see that from quite a ways away. As it gets closer, it doesn't look like a regular airplane. Upon arriving at the crash site, we have people who are looking at something they'd never seen before.
Material was lighter weight and more alloy than straight steel ; what folks would have known regular planes to be made from at the time. Material was highly reflective = this is for stealth purposes.

Gov't says " yea lol an alien spacecraft ha ha ha.... hey, wait a second. We could certainly use that as cover, could we not?
Just my theory. There's also 3 very important, backed by science reasons I don't believe in aliens. Not to say there isn't other ( maybe even more ) advanced species on other planets out there; but, travelling around the galaxy and visiting other planets? Nope, not one bit a reality.
