Interesting.... there are theories (not testable easily, so not scientific theories) that collective thought patterns reflect as thought forms that take a shape / life of their own (as 'egregores') and then influence humanity and groups of people to act in a certain way.

And another theory, postulated by several groups, is that the future of material world is already imprinted in the immaterial mirror world of the material and it bleeds through as patterns in randomness (to put it succinctly).
