We started off with vastly different politics but he has come to my side more and more. I credit the success of our 15 year marriage to being older when we got married, respecting each other (even when he is wrong), having the same religion, and both of us being passionate people that like to argue. He is also the most loyal and moral person I know and even though he doesn’t believe what I say half the time because he is smart and skeptical, he listens to my points (and sometimes I hear him arguing with his insane parents points I have brought up when he thinks I’m not listening) and he is totally down for any plans I suggest even if they seem crazy to him.
