Edit: A lot of people are very anti-nuke. And a lot of people have put in far more research into the subject than you or I. Check out Arms Control Association. It's all they do.
Talking about the number of warheads is irrelevant when people don't understand what MIRV is. They had to take ukraine to have even one warm weather port. Their nuclear capabilities are not significantly greater, in fact, the US can strike anywhere much easier. Talking about number of warheads is misdirection and xenophobic propaganda.
