/r/conspiracy is a mere, highly shilled and censored, shell of its former self. It is allowed to continue to exist for the same reason that QAnon was created by the globalists: To use controlled opposition to manipulate the globalists' opponents. For anybody who is trying to become redpilled, they will never discover the ((root cause)) of the organized subversion of of their countries.
In the interest of promoting truth, perhaps it would be performing a public service to pull the plug on /r/conspiracy. When MediaMatters colluded with reddit's admins to manufacture the banning of /r/T_D, their strategy was simple: Create fake posts that violate reddits ToS and call for a ban. This would not be difficult to duplicate. Obviously, we wouldn't have the cooperation of the admins that MediaMatters did, but it is still feasible.
Also, if /r/conspiracy gets shut down, they would flood here. We don't want that, trust me.
I'm guessing /r/conspiracy is pretty useful as a source of disinformation and gaslighting.
Muh flat earth!!
I'm confident that the only reason /r/conspiracy survived the recent purge after a Senator blamed "reddit conspiracies" for the events on Jan 6 is because the admins were able to "act" by removing the top mod (me) and they got their PR move to generate headlines like this:
Reddit Bans r/Conspiracy Moderator and r/DonaldTrump
I also have a theory that at least one individual or small contingent on the admin team still believes in what reddit USED to represent, and /r/conspiracy, for all its current faults, is the last semblance of this forgotten integrity.
I think that's the reason I "lasted" as long as I did as top mod and partly why /r/conspiracy is still around.
However, without an aggressive mod team to fend off the inundation of shills, /r/conspiracy is essentially a lost cause.
It is now essentially a containment area for the undesirables of reddit, and a punching bag as well.
The sheer amount of brigading and harassment allowed against /r/conspiracy users is an MSM-worthy story (if the MSM had a shred of integrity, they'd report on it).
If anything, the planned combustion of /r/conspiracy is a demoralization tactic, as genuine truth seekers are met with insane levels of mockery and abuse, all condoned and encouraged by Reddit Inc.
If you're still on /r/conspiracy, you're participating in a very uncanny psychological warfare experiment.
Yo, I just wanna tell you that you’re cool. Basically a legend. Thanks for everything you do!
I really appreciate that. I got 10 hate PMs for every kind one over at reddit, so it means a lot!
They allow conspiracy sites so they can see what citizens actually know.
It's not what it use to be. It's where r/politics users go to argue with people who have been banned from r/pol
TD grew afterward. Conspiracy is now fully controlled propaganda.
Lol at his they unbanned axo when they saw this place pull so many redditors - they realized they did it again and wanted to limit their loss of control until Beijing overruled that reversal
/r/The_Donald tried to shut down their subreddit by setting it to private, to stop it from coming under Reddit's control, but Reddit re-opened it to the public again against their will.
They must want it there to capture the audience and control them.
Try it. I bet reddit will remake /r/conspiracy stay open too, because they want to control it.
The_Donald overcame Reddit's power grab in the end by requiring approval for all threads and just never approving anything, and then linking to thedonald.win in the sidebar, moving their whole community over here and forcing Reddit to delete it anyway.
They have a long standing bureaucracy of shills in place who can "handle" conspiracy sites. The bureaucracy does not want to go away. Trump and pizzagate were new threats, so they get handled by banning.
They don’t need to. They’ve concentrated on infiltrating a sub which promoted free and critical thinking ans speech and through a coordinated effort are turning it into another R****t cesspool like r/news and r/politics.
Enough people realized news and politics etc were trash and shifted to r/conspiracy but free thought is becoming a crime and to ensure site wide conformity r/conspiracy had to fall. It took so ling because they had to focus on bigger subs first.
sheepherding and keeping an eye on the overall gestalt. easier to track our microdata, like milliseconds between keystrokes, time on a webpage, etc.
THE NARRATIVE IS HOLDING.
Because it's controlled opposition, duh
Great place to spread psyops and use weaoponised memes against some of the most free thinking and news literate folks around- conspiracy buffs.
Interesting idea but too many issues imo, without r/con the traffic doesn’t come here it goes to r/criticalthinkingskeptics or whatever faggy alternative the admins would foist on the community
