Even in his speech on the 6th Trump was explaining the psychological warfare tactics used by the MSM and admitted to being impressed by them, as though to Trump the MSM is a cunning rival in a high stakes game. I really do think Trump has strong "chaotic neutral" energy and loves to compete, especially where cunning is involved, and that he noticed how the deep state has all this unchallenged power with many extensions like MSM and alphabet agencies. Trump saw the ultimate rival and straight up solo'ed the ENTIRE DEEP STATE on his own to see how he'd do, and all factors considered he did miraculously well.
I always thought Q was crap, but Scott Adams posited an interesting question about it all: "Seems curious there isn't a national hunt for the people behind Q on them allegedly inciting a coup. Why's that? I can only think of one reason."

I was in deep on Q. The inauguration made it clear Q was just a larp. Who knows who was responsible for it, but all of the things I was promised would happen never did. Where was the martial law? Why is Killary still free? Why is Biden sitting in that chair? Why is Obummer still walking around? Why did Trump undo his ban on lobbying?
Q was a lie. Nothing they said was true. Trump wasn't a hero. Trump was deep state. Trump was swamp.

Because of his clever antics in the past, we were expecting some grand spectacle that would change everything, and it simply didn't materialize. Trump, who always plays to win, simply "lost" for the first time in however many years/decades, and he's just as disappointed by it as we are.
The good news is, he still sees a path forward, and I do too. If he does form the patriot party, maybe it'll become a viable third party that changes American politics forever.
