For my particular restaurant job, we seem to be doing fine, thanks to the online ordering that has increased as a result of the restrictions. Though I live in Denver, it’s probably different outside of the city.
Some servers are out of a job as a result but the chefs and restaurant itself are doing okay.
Without online sales they have had to forclose unless fully owned. Not indebt. Or franchises.
Funnily many of these shithole takeaway places had no restrictions other than no dining inside. Stupid when they had queues of 5 or more people.
I am talking about restaurants. 25 percent capacity is staff axed. Exclusive places have gotten far more exclusive. Imagine trying to get a seat in the steakhouse, fully booked. 25 percent capacity. Many places have been closing. Although many arent as bad as barbers, bars, beautricans, and sports centers. Lockdowns that ease and then restrict have cost so many jobs and forced more debt, much more debt.
