It was all fake. Every election for more than 40 years has been fake and so was 2016.

Yes, Trump was a Democrat.
The problem is that the Overton Window has shifted so much that a 90s Democrat is now a conservative republicans' position.
There is very little difference between what Trump has done/tried to do versus what 90s Bill Clinton actually ran on.
