I can only assume the goal was to get Trump supporters to come out and clash with them. Just like the goal at the capitol was probably to start an all out riot but nobody joined in on the destruction and instead decided to sing songs...

They should have started singing "We Shall Overcome." That honestly should be the rally cry of MAGA right now and it would rustle so many jimmies on the left.
