Yup. Trump controls the military, so the troops in DC are there on HIS orders. Apart from a pretty anemic-looking BLM "protest" down the road, there's not much going on. I don't think there's a trap being set. The troops presence in D.C. is to keep up the narrative that there is some continued right wing insurrection. They want to install their Manchurian candidate in front of 20,000 troops and an empty national mall in order to carry that narrative into the incoming administration.
