I don't understand how lockdowns can still be a thing in this day and age. There are places on the planet that never locked down. Where I live, we've been open for months and months and months. There aren't people dropping dead left and right, everyone in the world can communicate with everyone else, so I can literally say "bro, if there is a virus it's less bad than the flu". So how can people justify these lockdowns at this point?
I had a feeling the lockdowns would be going away around the time Biden is inaugurated. they got a lot of juice out of it. The lockdowns let them 1) accomplish massive election fraud 2) the frustration they channeled into the capital protests allowed them to establish their all-important 'white people are domestic terrorists' narrative, which they will hit the ground running with in Biden's first term, 3) they got their vaccine rollout going, and 4) they got months worth of data on how western societies respond to the lockdowns in the case of what was largely a null threat. now they can be confident in being able to get away with even more when the next designer virus is released.
I'm suspicious. Give up power, and before the vaccinate or be exiled from society mandate has run its course? I think it may as likely be that things lift briefly so they can declare "new deadly wave" spreading like wildfire and everybody feels bad for even thinking about trying to live like normal human beings
