I live in minneapolis. The day of the burning, I could see giant clouds of smoke coming from Lake street. The next day, riding my motorcycle into work in the suburbs, I could taste the acrid smoke in the air. Later, convoys of up-armed humvees rolled down my street, and black helicopters circled all day. There were vehicles without license plates racing up and down the streets during the curfew. The DC protest has nothing on what was done to minneapolis.
