CONVINCE, verb transitive [Latin, to vanquish.] This refers to be against something, but those you want to convince believe to be for something, which is why they consent by free will of choice to uphold their beliefs.
Their reality is based on adherence to beliefs (fiction), which is why any contradiction you present will trigger them to defend their comprehension of reality against your attack.
To overcome a belief one needs to consent to do it by oneself, which means another one can only ever offer inspiration. Do not present "information" while claiming it to be truth or false, because that would just contradict their beliefs, which puts you both into a conflict. Instead find ways to inspire them to think outside their beliefs (start with small ones).
As for oneself...all beliefs one holds are self restrictions on ones comprehension of reality...a reality within motion (not time, which creates three substitute states that trick us to ignore the ever changing moment within motion).
Question if anything within existence isn't defined by being within constant motion (start with anything lying around you and then keep expanding outward until you fully comprehend motion). Afterwards allow yourself to question how one within motion can proclaim a "truth" when everything is constantly changing, and once that clicks; ask yourself what is the only thing within a system of constant change that cannot change; that is fundamental?
Once one comprehends that mental foundation; the consciousness is ready to be used unrestricted.
How do we convince the people and ourselves
